According to World Health Organization (2016), “The determinants of health include: the social and economic environment, the physical environment, and the person’s individual characteristics and behaviours.” Typically people who have higher incomes, better education, a better environment, and a good sturdy support system have better health. Social health can influence your physical health because your friends surrounding you can help create an environment. Usually your friends have common interests as you so if they are more active you tend to be more active because you do not want to feel left out. Social influences that have affected my health and well-being is that in my town when I was growing up everyone always played a sport and if you did not play one then you typically were an outcast. If we put junk food and things we know that are not good for us then we should not expect our bodies to run great. I personally feel I have had consistent eating habits since I was a child. I do not always eat the best, but I know not to eat bad all of the time. Controlling portions is a key to help you keep a diet you do not necessarily have to eat the best. This makes sure your portion sizes are not out of
