There is quite a bit of positive actions that comes along with gaming. For one thing, it boosts kids grades up quite a lot. There was a study in which they took participants between the age of 18-25 and split them into two different groups. The first group had to play 50 hours of a first-person shooter game like Call of Duty or Unreal Tournament. The second group had to play 50 hours of a simulator game like Sims 2. The one’s who played the action/shooting game had a 25% faster time to decide than the other group. Also, it helps improve your vision. Your eyes become sensitive to slightly different shades of colour. People who play action-based video games (mostly fps games) were 58% better at perceiving fine differences in contrast. You will not want to hang out with anyone anymore since you are gaming more often and your friends will leave you since they don’t want to game all the time. If you have a girlfriend/boyfriend, they will also leave because they see that you love video games more than them and that is not a good thing. Also, it distances you away from your family. You wouldn’t want to hang out with them anymore because you are in your room playing a video game instead of socializing with them.
