Adolescents are frequent users of alcohol and increasingly consume it in a risky fashion. There is a tremendous amount of evidence connecting marketing to underage alcohol consumption; it is time to put stricter regulations on how the alcohol industry advertises its products. In order to enforce stricter regulations, policies need to be in place such as, reduction of commercial access, social access, and economic availability. The community can help stop the progression of underage drinking, through advertising and education.
