Even though we may lose our way to this paradise at times, there is always a way back to this idyllic place. Sometimes it can be difficult to accomplish this journey, but it doesn’t matter how hard the path can get, there is always a worthy reward at the final line.

And how is this related to writing? First we have to broad our understanding and the best way to do this is traveling. Traveling? Yes, traveling. But not only the normal trips we are accustomed to seeing in National Geographic. No. There are other ways of traveling we are not used to doing. I’m referring to the titanic power that books has. These not only let you travel around the world but through the whole history. Is not this a good way to broad our understanding? Is not this related to writing? I see the process of thinking strongly related to the process of writing. In fact, they need each other as a baby needs his mother. Without thinking, there is not writing, and without a mother, there is no baby. If the mother is not concerned about being a good parent, the baby is not going to be able to live. And even if he lives, he is going to be under really bad conditions. The same happen with the process of thinking. When our thoughts are not centered on being a good writer there is no way we can actually write something
