The atomic bombs were dropped on Japan by the U.S. Government on August 6th and August 9th, 1945 to force Japan to surrender for peace in the United States of America. The effects of the atomic bombs forced citizens of Japan to flee their homes, leave their families, and got seriously injured or died. The atomic bombs affected Japan because of all of these reasons that will be stated in this essay.
