Abstract
Technology and social media increase in the recent decades,There are many convenient of Access to internet such as it has become easy to get information at anywhere anytime; the technology encourages innovation and creativity ,simplified the way how people and businesses communicate, for instance face book, instant messengers, and the traveling in long distance. Even though the advantage of technology and social media, however the children and young people are the most people influenced by the overuse of technology. They spend more time connecting in their face book, playing video games, the rapidity advancing technology assimilate in different steps of child development such as social .physical and psychological. many of them view that technology help children and youth to become more creative, the most of them are anxious about the hazard impact on child. Social media appears the most common use for the children and youth since they find themselves independent, and they can find and communicate with friends easier. The reasons that children choose the internet or social media are different, such as children suffer from stress, depression and anxiety,also who have ashortage in emotion, and adult are shy and struggle to make friends .they choose to navigate in internet to seek consolation and escape from their problems (Morgan Adams). However, the overuse of technology and social media influence the child development socially, emotionally and behaviorally.There are many questions present themselves due to the harm of the technology in the children and youth. How social media such as face book affect the child? Why the youth become lonely in their relation between other face to face relations?
