Our dependence increases with the growing complications and systems contained from these technical devices, which make us as one race dependent on technology devices more. In order to become less dependent on technology, we need to find other ways to educate ourselves, to work around using technology, and to not use technology devices for everything. The first topic of discussion is technology dependance and why so many people depend on technology. Technology has found a way to work its way into the human race while making innovations and conveniences that makes life for the human race easier and more productive. for example in todays time we would use a computer to type a paper but try going back to the time when people only had type writers …show more content…
One result of technology addiction and dependance is isolation ,with isolation it takes you away from people who love you and also from fun things and new things. Lack of social skills is another result of addiction to technology with this being addicted. It keeps you from learnig basic and new social skills ‘’stuff you cant learn on an computer’’ Casandra Bennett. Obesity is a big result to having a technology addiction or technology dependance. In most studies they say that every child that spends more time on technology in the house instead of going outsidee and playing will have a higher chance to suffering from obesity than other children. Depresion is also an big result in technology addiction and technology dependace. Technology creates the perfect gateway to depression with the lack of human contact ,overeating and lack of excersize. increased bullying is another result of technology addicton and technology dependance. The use of technology has caused an increase in bullying and escalated the severity. Children are no longer able to escape their Bullies once they have reached the safety of their own homes.
