Social psychology consists of three major topics including social behavior, social influences and social cognition. They all relate to interacting with others either through body, language, or verbally. Emotions play a big part on how someone will react in a situation or respond to a negative feeling. The body and brain will signal each other how to move according to the three effects of social psychology.
In the article “Acta Facultatis Educationis Physicae Universitatis Comenianae” by Petra Kurkova and Nanci A. Scheetz, it states how students with communication disorder are in physical education compare to students that aren’t. ASL stands for American Sign Language and HH stands for Hard of Hearing. Students with ALS and HH are from a very different environment and ethnic background. A survey was sent to 32 coaches and PE teachers to answer and respond on students with both disabilities. The results focused on how important communication was. They observed how attentive students with disabilities were versus the non- disable in physical activity during school. The behavior outcome shown students with disabilities prefer not to participate because they’re afraid they won’t be able to perform as well as the others. In responses student with disabilities prefer to compete and participate in sports and physical activities with students in the same group they’re categorized in. Their thoughts and actions are more positive among these peers.
