The social media has been used over the course of 30 years, as so many people think social media did not start with the computers but with the online system so called phones around the 1950s. The early explores of social media built some devices that could make them generate tones letting them make free calls and access the telephone operational system.
The very first real blogs and podcasts was done by hackers using voice mail systems where they would get into mailboxes and set up shopping messages until they were discovered. Late in 1969 the computer service was introduced to the public in the US, the service was known as dial up the service dominated through 1980s and remained until 1990s. It also has the effects on interpersonal relationships some researches says that people usually tent to act differently online being less afraid to hurt and express themselves towards other people the preference to text someone instead to communicating face to face it occasionally lead people to loneliness. A controversial topic being discussed lately is whether or not the social media is an addiction, leading people to deprive themselves of a social real life. Extend use of social media has increased cases of cyberbullying, sleep deprivation and the decline of human interaction. Also having cases of paedophilia, stalking and many other leading to believe that the social media is not a hundred per cent a safe
