Severe diseases in the human body have been causes due to pollution within the foods and liquids we consume on a day-to-day basis. The human body consists of many factors that help us fight against infection such as white blood cells, organs, tissues, or other cell substances. These factors that defend our body from millions of infection, bacteria, microbes, parasites, toxins, or viruses are all parts of what we call the immune system. So how does the immune system work you may ask? In simple sense, when foreign substances enter the body, the body detects these substances and triggers the lymphocytes to produce antibodies. In fact pollution has increased in the past couple of years. In the 21 century, there is expected to be an increase in health issues due to the continued burning of fossil fuels that contribute to global warming, and most importantly air pollution. (Finch, 2014). Such implications between the governments and country’s sense to become more effective have increased the amount of pollution. For example one of the main reasons of air pollution comes from the burning of gas, coal, or oil. The increased amount of factories in this country have been made to increased amount of production, but at the same time it is increasing the amount of pollution that runs in the air. Smoking is also a problem causing air pollution, but unfortunately it is legalized in this country. Water pollution has also increased in the past years due to industrial waste and waste sewers that lead directly to streams or lakes.
