Have you ever heard of the idiom ‘it 's as easy as taking candy from a baby”? Well if you have than you’ll know the meaning of the saying relates to the idea of something being achieved without great effort or difficulty. This effortless action is then being compared to getting away with manhandling a baby for their candy. It’s sad to say that this is the idea that pertains to the fact that the menace effects of pornography uprising effortlessly in our young generation of primary and secondary students are because of the facile access to it. Internet Safety 101 reports that nearly 9 out of 10 (87 percent) young men and 1 out of 3 (31 percent) young women report using pornography. “The first sexual drawing was made by the caveman, and dates back almost a thousand years prior to the discovery of the first written document.” (R. Scott). Human sexuality has of course evolved since then with the use of technology and other factors. Although some activist suggest that pornography is a healthy way for people to explore their sexuality, I do believe there should be an age limit for this type of exploration. This graphic material is used for not only sexual pleasure but for instructive material as well for some children. The presence of pornography in a child 's life not only affects them in many ways but opens a door of feelings and experiences that should’ve never been opened in the first place.
