Did you know that there are 11.3 million immigrants living in the U.S? Every year, the U.S receives 700,000 illegal immigrants that come in and decide to stay permanently. You’d wonder why people even come to the U.S since we have our own predicaments in this country alone. They are always going to be questioned on why they are trying to migrate here, but these immigrants do have some reasons to migrate here perpetually. This essay is going to explore why people migrate, some controversies and issues regarding illegal immigration, and how illegal immigration affects the economy.
