Hirsutism in conclusion is excessive growth of terminal hair on the face and body of a female or males (where in females) the hair is distributed in a male pattern fashion growing more so around the face, chest and back. Hirsutism appears among 8% of women, found originating mostly in those from South Asia, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean. Hirsutism has a couple of causes which arise from genetic makeup as well as an excess in certain male hormone. A factor that contributes to hirsutism is also obesity which effects certain glands in the human body that will cause once again an excess amount of male hormones.
