Which leads back to the person at first felt they were overweight and thus shows they had a negative body image. The reason people have issues with their image is because they compare themselves to those on the media from models in ads to actors/actresses in TV shows or movies, singers, the people making the you tube posts, and then the fashion industries.
When a person has a negative view on their body image then it effects their self-esteem as well. It is the same if they have a positive view on their body image. People tend to develop other disorders if they continue to view themselves in a negative light. To name a few of other disorders are depression, anxiety, anti-social disorders, eating disorders which can lead to medical disorders,
