United States has higher rate of homicides than any other western country. As the visual displays, the United States has the most gun deaths. United States does not have strict law about guns. Other countries such as Germany, Canada, and England have strict law about guns. The statistics shows that in the United States more people die from gun than any other countries. This proves that government of US doesn’t seem to have strong plan against gun violence. Innocent citizen are victims of guns’ violence. Sometimes there are children and women who get killed by guns. Most of the time, gun shooting occurred by a child is at home. According to every town Gun survey, “American children are sixteen times more likely to be killed in unintentional shootings than their peers in other high-income countries” (3). Parents may think that having a gun at home will protect the family, but that’s not always the case. If someone is going to responsible of keeping the gun unloaded and locked up, then there is no way that anyone will be able use the gun at the right time. If the person needs it to defend themselves, as it will be locked up and unloaded, meaning the person would need time to get it and load it. Making it useless to have a gun at home because in reality it would not be helpful in the situation for self-defense. Basically, guns shouldn’t be kept at home, especially if it is a home that contains children. Owning a gun and keeping in a house is a risk and people should not take that risk. Take away guns and it won’t change anything. Criminals can use something else to commit crime. They possible can use knives or other sharp objects to hurt someone or even kill. If you take away knifes they 'll move to rocks or any other weapon they can use to harm others. It’s not the firearm that 's the issue, it’s the person themselves. If they want to kill someone they will find a way to kill them whether it’s with a gun or their own bare hands. People who believe that everyone has right to bear arms under the constitution think giving guns to the citizen will only save lives, and this way people can defend themselves. However, others think that if the government can enforce strict laws about guns, then it won’t be very easy for anyone to break them. People can’t kill anyone easily with a knife and rock as they can do with guns, a pull of the trigger. A shooter can use a gun from long distance to shoot someone, but they can’t kill someone with a knife or a rock when they are standing far away.
