When global warming was initially being brought to the public’s attention many people were posing various arguments about how if it was a made up without even having any fact based evidence to back them up. Today we are at a place in time where finally the conversation has changed into one with a unified front. The discussion is now what preventive measures need to be taken in order to have the least amount of damage to the world. People are giving various ways that they feel would be the best preventive measures. Countries all around the world are taking the next steps to change the game in the fight against climate change. “At the Paris climate summit in 2015, 195 countries signed a historic agreement to reduce their carbon emissions, with the goal of limiting future warming to below 2 degrees Celsius” (Denchak). Correspondingly the goal is simple, eliminating the high-levels of carbon dioxide, it is the climate’s worst enemy and the main reason for global warming. It’s released when oil, coal, and other fossil fuels are burned for energy.Therefore, that would be the best place to start to look for solutions to the problem because it is the largest contributing factor. Some of the ways that people have suggested as solutions are updating buying habits, changing transportation habits, stopping deforestation.
