The Earth goes through many natural changes like sea levels slightly changing, earthquakes, and tornadoes. Global warming has greatly increased and became one of biggest contributors to the changes on the Earth. Immediately I decided I wanted to learn more about global warming.
Global warming has changed climate a lot since when I was younger. Right now it is December 18th and we have no snow. I think this is the first winter that we have had no snow; usually there is so much that we are having storm days at school. I heard on the news that we are predicted to not have very much snow this year and have a very hot summer because global warming has affected the climate so much.
My view on global warming is that it exists. Everyone in the world needs to cut down on driving. Combustion engines create so much pollution that they are the number one reason for global warming. The greenhouse gases are affecting our atmosphere creating a way warmer Earth, which then has an impact on almost every living being. Another thing that we could do to help save the planet is conserve water. Fresh water is dropping lower and lower as sea levels rise higher and higher.
Some people say there is no global warming; we don’t need to worry about anything. It’s all just a myth. Those people just don’t want to believe that the things they are doing every day have an impact on the Earth and soon we will run out of resources and the planet will never be the same.
