Benefits Of Emotional Intelligence

The topic of the research that was conducted was in regard to emotional quotient (EQ) otherwise known as emotional intelligence, which is the ability to perceive and understand the emotions of others around them and adapt to those scenarios, being contrasted with the use of intelligence quotient (IQ) which is a score given to determines a person’s intelligence, using logic and reason, the two were explored and contrasted to determine which one provides the most benefits within business and management. Each presented numerous positives for both an employer and employee to use (these are discussed and explored later on). This research is fundamental because it attempts to determine the most effective way in which people can be managed and what produces the best outcomes for both the employees and employers, it is however understood that not all businesses operate in a similar fashion and what works for one may not necessarily benefit the other.
As was stated earlier, both the approaches of using EQ and IQ provide many different benefits; all of which will be outlined here,

This report encourages a intersectional approach for businesses, both IQ and EQ are extremely important but it is necessary for the business to determine what the focus should be. There were many recommendations on how to improve the report, such as exploring more what industries would use IQ or EQ, and hopefully it can be seen these recommendations were accounted
