The vape industry has been booming on e-cigarette sales because they are a healthier alternative to smoking cigarettes. When I was 16 I started on cigarettes because I thought they were cool and that is what a lot of students were doing in High School. I ended up being addicted to cigarettes and I wanted to stop before I either go broke buying them or get cancer or something bad from them. Furthermore, I chose to buy an e-cigarette because when I first started using it I had to hide it from my parents and there was almost no scent so it was easier to hide. Now that I am 19 I still vape off of an e-cigarette but I do not have to hide it from my parents. According to Wael K. Al-Delaimy, “ E-cigarettes over the past few years have caused a lot of controversy on how e-cigarettes affect ones health or society” (1213). I agree that e-cigarettes are not 100% healthy but, I believe they are healthier because they do not have a lot of the bad chemicals that are in

The Commentary Rough Draft DeVry University Composition Course Number: ENGL112 Professor: Paul Wiltz Date: 8-12-2017 Although Many people are led to believe that vaping is just as, if not more dangerous than the conventional cigarette due to ignorance of the device, general safety of e-cigs, and their appeal to children, research shows that this is not the case. E cigarettes and vape pens have been around since 2003, but they recently had an explosion in popularity as a smoking cessation device, or a recreational way of delivering nicotine and flavorings in a presumably harmless way. Most people would like to believe that this “Vaping” trend is sign that cigarettes are about to become outdated, and that people are switching to a more healthy lifestyle. Today, the vaping trend is viewed as a safe alternative to cigarettes, but in reality it may be just as bad, if not worse. Whats really concerning is that many of the e-cigarette and vaporizer companies are flourishing because of the lack of regulation on these relatively new products.…

I learned about E-cigs, and I switched. Gone are the heavy expenses, the hassles, the dirt and ash, the bad health risks, the offense to others, but I still LOVE vaping. There is a lot of propaganda out there trying to claim that E-cigs are just as bad as regular tobacco. It would be of interest to you to know that regular tobacco manufacturers are just some of the ones funding such nonsense, because the E-cig industry is cutting directly into THEIR profits. Meanwhile, they have the funds to push legislation which leave them the only ones in business.…

I believe there is a better alternative: the electronic cigarette. Many believe that e-cigarettes are just as harmful to a smokers health as tobacco cigarettes,…

The uniqueness of electrical cigarettes may be appealing to the youth, as well as people who are curious about it. This is especially eye-opening to me because this is my age group. “The main component of e-cigarettes is the e-liquid contained in cartridges.
