The author's main purpose in writing all these is to inform on the subject on dress codes. All of the journals give information highlighting the effects of dress codes in schools. All three of the journals are targeting the same people. One of the main targets of the journals is school administrators. School administrators are a big target for these journals because they are the ones who will interpret them and decide what dress code policy will work best for their school. Another big target audience is students and parents who think that the dress code at there school is not being handled appropriately.
