Every day, there is the possibility that people can face certain events in their life that can change that person for the rest of their lives. People can face problems with events in their childhood, current events worldwide, and events with their peers all situations which could prevent people from following their dreams in life. In one's childhood, there are many traumatic events that can occur that can cause those children problems for the rest of their life. Divorce is very common in the United States now and “teenagers in single-parent families and in blended families are 300% more likely to need psychological help within any given year than teens from intact, nuclear families”(Parker).
