Everyone always hears about bullying and cyberbullying from school or on the news, but most people think it is not actually happening in their own schools or communities. In reality, because of the internet and all of the apps and devices people have access to it is now even easier for these things to happen. Most people do not realize how badly children and teenagers are being affected by cyberbullying even though our schools and parents try to teach us how to be safe when using the internet. A first step to help stop cyberbullying is to educate people on what exactly it is and how it can happen. People also need to learn about the bad affects social media and cyberbullying is having on children and teens. The biggest way cyberbullying can be prevented is by the things that schools and parents can do because they will have the biggest impact. When people realize how much and how badly children are being affected by cyberbullying and that there are many small solutions to help, hopefully they can join in and help fix this problem.
