If you play any contact sports, you more than likely know what it is like to have a concussion. Concussions are a bigger deal then most people think they are, they can cause life long heath problems and even may play a major role in the premature death of a lot of people. In 2012, there were 3,800,000 concussions recorded, that is more then double of the amount of concussions that were reported in 2002. Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, better known as CTE, is a disease that has killed many athletes over time in more than just football. There are people that are dying at a early age from CTE, and that is because they isn’t the best head protection in youth and professional sports. Better head protection and more training on how people should tackle to prevent concussions, should be something that is required in football practices in every level of football. There are people that are dying at a early age from CTE, and that is because they isn’t good head protection in youth, amateur, and professional football. CTE is a disease that is found in people that have had many concussions or many severe blows to the head. It is found in most former professional football player that are retired and have moved on with their life, outside of football. There are a lot of symptoms to if someone has CTE. If they are healthy they will have more time to improve on there game and become the best players that can can become and a young age. Because they are good youth players they will more then likely be all stars at there high school and then possibly get a lot of there college education and play football, which will make the community a better place, less crime, and parents and kids will save a lot of money from there college education. But, non of that will happen if they get a concussion and a young age that knocks them out of the sport
