The American government has placed several laws in place to try and hinder bullying in primary schools and high schools, however those are not the only areas that have bullies. Bullies are located everywhere, from college campuses to old folk’s homes; bullying if allowed in schools will only continue into the children’s everyday lives beyond high school. The people that follow this thinking were more than likely bullies themselves, thriving on the power and pain that he or she was/is able to place upon someone. The school of hard knocks as it is called has a nasty tendency to be more hurtful towards its intended target (i.e. victim) than being helpful and constructive. But there is some truth to what these people are saying, though it may seem moot, bullying happens everywhere to everyone, it just happens, so it is like a rite of passage if someone can withstand the fires of being bullied then he or she can withstand the harsh reality of the world. This may seems like a cruel thing to do but if someone can make it through the preverbal flames then he or she can make it out in the real world with greater success than someone that got burned and became jaded and
