When I started going to secondary school, I never did my mathematics homework, may be because I was shy or afraid of doing it wrong. After noticing this, one day the teacher asked me why not I did my homework. I finally told her the reason, which made her a bit mad at me. She did not scold me but instead as a punishment she made me write fifty times that from now on I will always do my homework. This made me really embarrassed, and after that I never missed my homework. The teacher appreciated me a lot and gave examples of me to other children, which made me do my homework more properly. This is an example of operant conditioning because the teacher’s appreciation made me continue in doing my homework which is an example of positive reinforcement,
