To say that JROTC has affected my leadership abilities is a large understatement. The general populace’s perspective on leadership is a one way street. The leader designates a person to do a task, the designated person then performs the task, the task is then completed, and the leadership is successful. This typical version of leadership does not allow for the person being lead to provide their input on the situation or the route to success.
