Dubai is very hot because it is near the equator and on the Tropic of Cancer. Places near the equator are hot because of the Earths curvature. An amount of sunshine falling on the equator is much more intense than the rays spread over a much larger area at the north and south poles. The heat is a problem because we lose water through different methods such as sweating and as well as that heat makes us very uncomfortable.
