While I do agree that Elvis' performance yesterday was nothing short of disastrous, I think some context is key. Elvis had a better batting average this series (albeit poor at .182) than Prince Fielder, Josh Hamilton, and Mitch Moreland (hitless). His caught stealing was something that you are told not to do over and over again, but if he swipes that bag (and he was close) the Rangers have 2nd and 3rd with two outs. You can't get mad at Elvis for trying to be aggressive and make a play, as that is what he is in the lineup to do, and I'm sure Banister can live with that.
