The advertising industry is an institution that can be found throughout various sectors of society. Each advertisement has a specific audience that the sponsor is attempting to draw in. With such a substantial task at hand, many obstacles can arise in the process of urging an audience towards a particular conviction. Regardless of such impediments, many advertisements prove to be highly impactful in the manner by which the audiences are influenced. Although advertising has the potential to significantly influence someone’s views, the average human tends to require much more than an ad to sway their beliefs or routines.

When it comes to the effects of advertising on society, the actual influence it transfers, seems to be greatly exaggerated, is somewhat of a factual hyperbole. As it is described in Source B, cigarette use grew rapidly, and complete gratitude for the trend can be passed. Certainly, people have more stable foundations than to allow an unambiguous television ad to initiate a lifelong habit. As we all are aware, there are numerous factors that play into smoking;peer pressure and home life have the potential to become fate in such an severe dependence. Source D makes the allegation that advertising forces viewers to purchase products that they had no affiliation with at a prior time.
