In Carl Singleton’s “What Our Educational System Needs is More F’s” he talks about how students today are receiving passing grades when they really should be getting failing grades because they did not put in the effort to receive the passing grade. A teacher is just as much responsible for the students grades as the students are. If a teacher is not qualified to be able to teach the material, they should not be allowed to teach for the obvious fact of they did not earn it. Having a teacher or instructor that is qualified to teach the course can make a huge difference on how well a student learns the material and how they do overall.
