To Quintilian, being a good orator is more than being a good speaker. He makes sure to mention that a great orator is also a philosopher, a good man, a good citizen and possesses courage, justice and self-control. There is great emphasis on being a well-rounded person in order to be a good speaker. The relevance of being a great orator within today’s classroom is because of how teachers get the respect and the attention of their students.
