My opinion about the Edmund Fitzgerald is that it sank because of the Three Sisters which was that carried 26,000 gross tons of taconite pellets on it.Captain Ernest McSorley of the Fitzgerald had another ship called the Anderson which was another freighter. The Three Sisters is the one out of four theories on how the fitzgerald sank.I chose the three sisters because Fitzgerald did start taking water because the Fitzgerald said that they “lost a rail, lost or damaged two vents and a list…” my opinion is strong on how the edmund Fitzgerald sank. The reason I picked the three sisters is because there was a storm and the waves were 18-25 feet high and if one of the rails were missing the ship was already and there was a monstrous wave that
