Truthfully, I’d choose to avoid cheating regardless of any urges to do otherwise. By deciding to stay away from such action, I’d preserve my academic honesty and integrity, an important component of a scholar. Doing otherwise would result in a conference if caught, which would be very shameful, and the potential expulsion from such a prestigious program which I value very much. After everything my parents do for me, cheating would be letting them down and that’s something I couldn’t live with. Tenth and eleventh grade PACE, having a more intense curriculum, will call for greater organization and time management in order to be successful. Although I’ll admit I’ve procrastinated at times, for the next two years I look forward to avoid doing so because I know, from past experience, how terrible a habit it is. In middle school, I made the wrong choice and procrastinated very often, forming a bad habit that I brought to PACE ninth grade.
