Bulimia is an eating disorder which causes victims to either intake, excessive or insufficient amount of food, and also it affects the victim mentally, physically, and emotionally which can take and end the victim life. “BN are consistently characterized by perfectionism, obsessive-compulsiveness, and dysphoric mood.” (Neurobiology of anorexia and bulimia nervosa). Bulimia is the early cause of mortality in young women and men which is associated with severe medical and psychological disorder, mostly found in the Western Hemisphere. The therapy also focuses on the bulimics personal relationship issues with friends, families, and their partners. The therapy not just focus on relationships, but other problems like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and feelings of isolation and loneliness. Bulimics must stay away from people, places, and activities that can trigger the urge to binge or purge. They also need to be careful when it comes to meal planning because they don’t when it’s too much or not enough so a dietitians or nutritionists are usually needed to help the bulimics design their meal plan, set dietary goals and then achieve the healthy weight to function properly.
While eating disorder remains misunderstood, progress is now being made, and public awareness about it is increasing and also with the increase level of understanding, we can shed more light on the issue in the near
