Reading this book was an interesting experience I did not expect. A business is a reflection of the owner's personality, growth is change, and in order for a business to grow, the business owner has to too. The book demonstrates that the process of business development is also a process of personal development. And for it to be successful and a great experience, the person starting the business must have a full vision of what that business means to him/her, and what are reasons behind starting it.

The system that the McDonald brothers developed was built on speed, simplicity, and order. Garber explains that businesses not only need great managers and employees to take it to higher level, but the system and procedure that enables those people to operate that business and generate success. The concept behind franchising is that “The true product of a business is the business itself”. Buying a franchise is very profitable and not difficult to achieve, while starting an original business system has a higher payoff on investment. The book in a very captivated way illustrates how it is not about starting a business and get it to thrive, it is actually about the individual’s goal and life path. “Great people have a vision of their lives that they practice emulating each and every day. They go to work on their lives, not just in their lives”
