There are many who believe that there is no relationship that could exist between freedom and slavery, but America was developed upon the concepts of becoming separate equal. It seems as if the relationship is ironic, but when America made changes to become liberated, the founding fathers considered the aspects of liberty, race, and slavery. They argued that they wanted a country that would be developed based on American freedom, but this same country was shaped by the rise of slavery. American slavery and American Freedom must go hand in hand because this nation needed a system that would allow them to be free from control, this came from the a demanding system of slavery. The relationship between freedom and slavery is intertwined based on the concepts that in order to be liberated, many Americans not only strived based on their slave trade participation, but they bought their independence with slave labor.
