The story “The Dying Detective”by Author Conant Doyle and “ Invitation to a Murder” by Josh Patcher, each story is unique and different. Although the stories are different they both share several similarities. For example, Each story contains situational irony. In the story “The dying Detective” Sherlock was mindful that he was faking his illness. Sherlock faking his illness is situational irony since his sickness was extremely practical, which caused the readers to conclude that he was truly sick. In the book “ Invitation to a Murder” Eleanor Abbott arranged the murder of her husband.
