Jay’s complication in this novel is when Jay and his friend, Salman, are looking for a new drummer for their band’s drummer, Tristan, puts no effort into his work and once the rest of the band finds out that Jay and Salman are looking for someone to replace Tristan it ends up in a mess and Jay is voted out of the band by his best friends. After Jay had solved this problem as he created a new band with his brothers and Babatunde.
Summer’s problem in the novel is when she is about to get raped by a wicked man and when she tries to escape and does by stabbing the man with broken glass but the man still chases after her.
