Although most people would disagree, I think that the driving age should not be risen for two reasons. One reason I feel this way is because after so many years of having the driving age the way it is, there is no valid reason to change it now. The driving age was changed to 16 so that the blood alcohol limit for under-20s would be decreased to 0. Parliament also felt that it would strengthen the restricted license test. Another reason I disagree with the age change is that I do not want to have to wait any longer.…

Your only option left is to walk or take a bike; sometimes it's a far distance and may take an hour or so, but it's the only way to get to your destination. Therefore, I believe the driving age should not be raised for many reasons; accident rates would most likely not improve and many students depend on driving to get to and from school/work. Raising the driving age above sixteen is not a necessary change because…

Teens need experience in order to learn, and raising the minimum driving age prevents teens from getting much needed experience at a younger age. Those who support raising the minimum driving age may argue that teens are reckless and irresponsible. However, teens only account for about 12 percent.…

If a person is not mature or they can’t drive safely enough, then they don’t pass the test, no matter how old they are. We should do this because there are some kids that aren’t…
