The cause of this accident was the driver driving the wrong way at a high rate of speed and the car crashing into a pole and striking the curb.The driver was also intoxicated causing him to drive poorly. Based on the driver's actions of going the wrong way and multiple collisions one can conclude that the driver’s judgement was impaired due to substance abuse most likely of alcohol. We can also conclude because he was ejected from the car that he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. If the driver hasn’t been speeding and driving while intoxicated he wouldn’t have been in this crash, and if he would have worn a seatbelt he might have survived the crash.
