2.1 Explain the principles which underpin a chosen behaviour management model.
I have chosen to look at the Dreikurs' model as I feel like the model sticks out to me by catching my interest, I feel like this model looks at all aspects of aspects for the children/ young people and their behavioural management within a setting. I believe this as The Dreikurs' Model supports teachers in the classroom to know hot to understand the management children's behaviour by not using discipline or punishments in the classroom but by getting children and young people to understand their own behaviour, this would mean that they will be able to know how to behave when in the setting as the teacher sets firm guidance's of how to act and how not …show more content…

2.3 Review the following roles in relation to the chosen behaviour management model;
· Children and/ or young people
Children and young people in charge of the way that they behave, from the early years of children's and young people's life's they know what they do and do not want to do or have. These choices reflect the way that their behaviour is. While observing the Dreikurs' model in practice I am able to see the way that children behaviour is looked at and managed in the setting.
· Staff
All staff within childcare have a number of responsibilities that they have to up hold in the work place. When in a setting practitioners must act within a positive manner so that they can lead children and young people in how to behave. Children and young people are very observant so whilst these are around staff member during the weeks that they are in the setting they are constantly picking up on the way that they are behaving therefore learning through seeing.
· Parents/
