One of my favorite authors that I learned about in first semester was Queen Elizabeth I. History is my favorite subject so of course I knew about her beforehand; however, I did not know about the things she authored. “The Doubt of Future Foes” is my most loved work by Elizabeth I. However, after a lot of hard work filled with research, rough drafts, and editing, I am proud of my end piece. I have been told before that I should not stress about writing like I do; however, I feel like it makes more determined to do well so I can be a better writer.
DAYBOOK REFLECTION My daybook was a large part of my senior year. I have a total of eighty-one entries which is more than I thought I would have. I stuck to it better this year than I did my junior year. Perhaps this is because I want to hold onto my senior year as much as I can because I would occasionally record memories. My original goal that I included into my mission statement was to write at least three times a week and I definitely stuck to that and even exceeded it at times. The easiest kinds of entries for me were quotes. I have always loved quotes said by famous people in the past and lines from songs. Recurring themes in my daybook are the kind of entries I made. Apart from these quotes, I would also draw; most of my sketches are either abstract lines or views of nature. I also recorded some of my favorite memories and biggest problems I have had to
