As 2016 presidential election approaches, people start to consider who they want as 45th president. During republican party presidential primaries, a candidate differentiates itself from other with his atypical personalities. Although Donald Trump is far from being the most liked republican, he is actually at the top of the primaries with 185 more delegates than the second, Ted Cruz. The chance he has to accede the second round are definitely high. Ted Cruz needs 693 delegates (90%) of the 769 remaining to beat Donald Trump, that is going to be hard to achieve. The University Trump created “Trump University” was defrauded students, which is paradoxical for someone who is blaming the US government of taking advantages of students loans. Trump was promising students something that they did not receive. They did not receive a degree; it is not an accredited college; the goal was only to scam students out of money. According the New York attorney General Eric Schneiderman it was essentially an elaborate “bait-and-switch” and “Trump appeared in advertisements making false promises that persuaded more than 5,000 people around the country, including 600 New Yorkers, to spend tens of thousands of dollars they couldn’t afford for lessons they never got”. The idea of defraud was clearly set up. The playbook prepared for Trump University seminar demands a “minimum sales goal” of $72,500 per seminar (The Atlantic). In other words, 20% of attendees has to sign up for a 3-days seminar of $1,495. In fact, Trump University was not a University, and even if he has now changed the name to “Trump Entrepreneur Initiative” he does not excuse the fact that it was illegal and he does not know …show more content…
People have been able to notice that during his speeches, he has shown many times some racist and sexist tendencies. Trump wants to build a wall to avoid Mexican immigrations and makes Mexico pays for it. Hispanics is the second most important minority in US (17.4%), behind the white, and it is about to grow in the future year (28.6% in 2060). He wants to be elected having an important minority against him. Hispanic is not the only minority that contest him, African Americans are also against him. Trump refused to disavow David Duke, the former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard, and this one did not hesitate to support him publicly.
