The Domino Theory During The Vietnam War

During the 1900s is when the domino theory took place after an important speech in a news conference .The 20th century is when the cold war had begun, and that is when it all begun on April 7, 1954 was the domino theory also known as the domino effect. The domino theory was simply the spread of communism. If one country fell under communism soon the other countries would follow. They started calling it the domino theory because just like a domino when one falls another does but only this its countries falling under communism.

It feared the the communist takeover that it would mean that communists would take over all the other countries in southeast. Without the domino theory, vietnam would be an unimportant country. The domino theory became a threat to US security. The domino theory was a good reason for the US to get involved with Vietnam.
The domino theory is when one country follows another country kind of like how in highschool one student follows another. As you can see a lot of countries fell under communism.
