the movie was very odd and I did not like it. In the movie the dog replaced Clover. In the Book the story was told by no one and in the movie it was told by the dog also old major did not die the same in the Book as in the movie. Also in the movie it is rushed and confusing overall I did not like the movie or the Book but the Book was better than the movie. I think that if people only watched the movie and not read the Book they would be confused because in the movie not all the info is there and it's hard to

It gave exquisite details on how each individual part happened and how each character responded. Supporting my thesis, the novel was more intriguing than the movie. Each event was described clearly, whereas in the film many were left out or unspoken of. I feel as if the movie focused on just the main parts of the story, but in the book every little obstacle was written out. Therefore, I have given various examples as to why the book was better than the film, along with the major similarities and differences of the…

I say the movie and the book are both equally great. The movie hit the big topics of the book and also included funny moments. The book included everything and the movie included the most important parts of the book and mainly focused on the climax, the hook, and the peak of the book. First, The movie included the most exciting and the parts which hooked readers the most. Second, the parts in the book that the movie chose were very much like the book, leaving only a few things changed.…

To start of with let's talk about the book. The book is so much more interesting than the movie. When the two dogs die that is the saddest part in the book. But i thought it was sadder when i read it than when i watched it. The book says little ann won a beauty contest but there was no beauty contest.…

It had a great cast that played out each character like they were in the book. The only thing the movie changed was to make it more cinematic or visual and to make it fit better in a movie format. I thought the movie did a great job in explaining more of the dark humor. This made the movie enjoyable because of how the scenes were scripted and played out. I liked the movie a bit more than the book and it made the book easier to read because of the nonlinear sequences.…

Ironically due to the storyline; the book is better than the movie, because it is shows better description, character analysis, and it gets the point across to the reader to show what leads up to the main idea. While, the movie it is more vague and fast paced so it's hard to comprehend the storyline. The book is more illustrative than the movie. For example, the…

The book and movie of The Great Gatsby were both pretty good but each had some differences. Some examples; In the book Nick meets Tom at his door and in the movie, Nick meets Tom at the dock and they are driven to Tom’s house. Time and time again people come to the common question of, “Movies vs. books?” Many movies follow their books word for word whether its character development or plot development, whereas other movies change and twist the book’s stories in unimaginable ways, yet people are still faced with the question, “Movies or books?” An example of how books and movies can differ is in the story “The Outsiders” written by S. E. Hinton and produced by Francis Coppola. Although there are many similarities that both the book, The Outsiders, and the movie share, there were many noticeable differences in the appearance and personalities of all the characters. Three of the main characters, Pony, Johnny and Soda, will be reviewed in particular.…

In “The Landlady”, Billy Weaver is lured into a seemingly normal bed and breakfast by an old lady who, despite her gentle and unthreatening appearance, wants to kill him. It is a story about how those with cruel intent may take advantage of those who are innocent and naive. Although the book and the movie can be arguably similar if generalized, there are many differences that may change the way a reader/viewer may grasp the concept of the story. Since a movie and book cannot be exactly the same, the film version is bound to have things that differ from the text. One example of how the book develops the development of the story is with the setting.…

It seems an unfair view to expect a movie about a book to be exactly the same down to every single detail. Communities of fans will always find something wrong with a story, for it has “failed” to match expectation. Books are a place where someone can be dragged into the story and forget about everything else for a short while. Movies do the exact same thing, except it is seen as an easier way than books for a lot of people. Ignoring obvious differences (such as the fact that one is in picture form, and the other is in words), movies and books may not be so different after all.…
