In Jack London’s “Call of the Wild” there is a dog named Buck. Buck was a mix of two breeds of dogs a St. Bernard and a Scotch shepherd dog. He got his large build from his dad ,the St. Bernard. A mix of the two breeds helped to him to be a very large dog. He was a muscled dog because he helped hunt and did a lot of outdoors activity. Buck weighs about as much as his parents so Buck weighs about one hundred and forty pounds. Buck also has a thick coat than some dogs. In Jack London’s “Call of the Wild” Buck was a proud dog. He was a dog who thought he was king of judge Miller’s house and everything in it. Then he was on a walk with Manuel when he was sold by Manuel.
