First I need to know what is given to me. After pondering this question, I realized that we are given so much. Not only does this mean that we are given blessing for the things that we do, but we are given much more than that. We are given prophets, apostles, and other church leaders. These leaders are given to us for our benefit, so that we may be guided. Our leaders are here to guide us and the other members of the church. We may slip up at times, but if we turn to God with a sincere heart and contrite spirit, we can use the atonement of Jesus Christ to help us to return back to the iron rod. Through the atonement it is possible for us to return to our Father in Heaven. Once again this is where this scripture comes in. We have been given so much. We have been given a Savior who will save us from our sins. We are all sinners, but Christ loved us all so much that he suffered for all of our sins. Although we strive not to commit sins, we do slip up at times. We have been given the greatest gift of all. In order to use the atonement, we are required to realize we have sinned. Burton in a talk “Prepared in a Manner That Never Had Been Known” from 2014 talks about how it is obvious that a divine being who gives us such divine gifts would require so much of us. I realized that God has blessed each and every one of us so greatly. Without him we would not have come to Earth, or received a body. We owe everything we have to God. Compared to what Heavenly Father has given us, what he requires of us is insignificant. We will never be able to fully repay God for all that He has given to us. What we can do is strive to do all that is required of us, slowly and surely in every way that we can. If we do all that we can, through the grace of Jesus Christ we can be saved. We must give our full effort to do all that is required of us, and we will be saved in the last
