The Doctrine and Covenants is a book of divine revelations, given to members of the

Church of Jesus Christ, to help further the establishment of Christ’s Kingdom and contains an

invitation to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. As one engulfs oneself into the Doctrine and

Covenants, one will find out that, just as the Book of Mormon is the keystone of The Church of

Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the Doctrine and Covenants is a companion to the Book of

Mormon and is the capstone of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Doctrine

and Covenants gives new insight to gospel topics and one can further partake of the bread of life

as one drinketh from the pages of the Doctrine and Covenants to come closer to Christ.

One of the many topics that gives new insight is that of the Holy Ghost. This third

member of the Godhead is of great importance and should be studied out more in depth. The
