Students all have access to Wi-Fi before and after school hours. Most students do not live far from places with free Wifi, such as McDonald’s, Panera, coffee shops, or other facilities with access to Wifi. According to Kajeet, one in three students lack home Internet access (1). Not having Wi-Fi at home can cause problems, unless there are features on tablets/computers to access files while in a non-Wi-Fi area. A setting accessible on all tablets/computers, is an offline version of documents changes made without Wi-Fi will still be saved on the tablet/computer.
