It goes without saying that social media has tremendous effects on people nowadays. Several researches have pointed out that there are several advantageous features as well as drawbacks of social media coupled with the specific reasons for bad effects on young generations. Undoubtedly, social media is now a new concept of the modern era, as seen in Shahjahan and Christy’s research study (2014, V, para 1): “A new platform, social media, has taken the power of the word to new levels, transforming companies, society communication”. Beyond the purpose of entertainment, social media is also used by many students for learning and exchanging information. To some extent, social media provides a good environment for students to broaden their knowledge in many academic areas as well as in daily life. Nevertheless, besides the positive impacts, social media has certain limitations which will be discussed later in this research. Media is a tool that helps us to communicate, and "social" here is from the word "Social media" - Social media (such as Facebook, Twitter, My Space, Google Group, YouTube, Flickr, etc.). Hence, it is clear that social media is a communication tool that uses the platform of social media to reach people. Wikipedia explained information and communications technology:
